I help stay-at-home moms have time for what they want to do alongside their motherhood.
As a stay-at-home mom to three girls (aged 10, 8, and 4), and with a pilot husband, I had been living in overwhelm and exhaustion for years, always looking outside of myself for answers and feeling lost and alone. I had quietly let any sense of self slip away until I finally realized one evening in the spring of 2020 that I urgently needed to get it back!
I was half-listening to the latest news about the pandemic while rushing to make dinner, when I was stopped in my tracks by the sound of Les Misérables’ ‘On My Own’ playing in the background of a segment about the closure of London’s West End. “Turn it up!” I shouted over to my husband, and began singing along at the very top of my lungs, easily remembering the lyrics from endless hours spent playing the soundtrack on repeat over 20 years ago. By the time the song had finished, I was breathless and filled with joy.
Later that evening, it hit me exactly what had been missing from my life for the past seven years…getting out of the to-do lists in my head (and all the lies my inner critic was telling me) and into my body, where I could FEEL profoundly right in who I am. I’ve realized in my work with stay-at-home moms since then that doing what lights you up and fulfilling your potential as you pursue your passion is the most direct, simple way to find your way back to your true, authentic self - where you know and trust who you are and you know that you’re ok, no matter what’s going on around you.
That unexpected moment led me to start dancing to a song I love each day, picking up my writing after ten years of staring at blank pages, starting a blog, discovering life coaching and starting my practice as a certified Life Coach for stay-at-home moms.
Giving myself permission to follow the breadcrumbs of what feels good to me in my body has totally transformed my life at home and will do the same for you, too.
You will make decisions that count, see your ability to get anything done in the time YOU set for it, and be willing take courageous action to create the fulfilling life you’ve always wanted - just as you did when you decided to become a mom.
